The Café
Cold brew in Rajouri Garden, steeped not shortcut
Haru Natsu is a specialty coffee café in Block J, Rajouri Garden, West Delhi — three minutes on foot from Rajouri Garden Metro Station on the Blue and Pink Lines. If you have been searching for cold brew near me in Rajouri Garden and getting iced coffee with a hot shot poured over ice, this is the difference.
Real cold brew takes time and nothing else. Coarse-ground coffee sits in cold water for 18 hours or more, so no heat ever touches the grounds. Heat is what pulls the sharp, sour acids out of a bean; take it away and what is left is naturally sweet, rounded and chocolatey, with roughly two-thirds less acidity than a hot brew. That is why cold brew is easier on the stomach and why it still tastes like coffee after twenty minutes in Delhi heat, when iced coffee has gone watery and bitter.
We steep our own concentrate in-house, every batch, and build each drink over ice to order. Classic Cold Brew (₹180) is the steep on its own. The six seasonal cold brews are ₹220 each and take it somewhere different — Cranberry for tartness, Coconut Water for lightness, Iced Orange Tonic for fizz and citrus, plus Orange, Tonic and Ginger Ale. Every one of them is dairy-free as served.
What the Natsu Drinks are
Natsu means summer. The Natsu Drinks are the seasonal half of the menu — Coconut Water Cold Brew and Iced Orange Tonic Cold Brew — built specifically for the months when West Delhi crosses 40°C and a milk-based coffee stops being appealing. They are long, cold, lightly sweet and carbonated or mineral rather than creamy.
A calm room to drink it in
Haru Natsu — Japanese for Spring and Summer — is built on the idea that a good drink deserves a good room. The interior is minimal and warm, with natural light, clean lines and a visible CIME Italian espresso machine. It is the kind of café in Rajouri Garden where you can work through an afternoon or meet a friend without being hurried out.
